Real Madrid looks to warm up for their Champions League final clash with Liverpool, as the Champions of Spain welcomes fifth-place Real Betis to the Santiago Bernabeu.
It’s been a great season for Real Madrid in Spain as they’ve reclaimed the title from city rivals Atletico Madrid. 12 points clear of nearest rivals Barcelona, Real’s 35th La Liga title can be largely credited to the work of the best striker in the world right now, Karim Benzema. Scoring 27 goals in 31 La Liga games, the Frenchman will look to grab some more and warm up perfectly for the showdown next week in Paris.
Betis have had a great season under the former Manchester City manager, Manuel Pellegrini. Winning the Copa Del Rey, the side from Seville knows that they will be back in Europe next year, competing again in the UEFA Europa League. Betis will be looking for revenge from the meeting in August, losing narrowly 1-0 in Southern Spain.
Real should have enough to see their domestic season off in style, with Benzema likely to grab a brace.
