          Kick off time: 16:30

          Location: Signal Iduna Park

The title being settled means Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to secure an unbeaten season. Borussia Dortmund, however, are thick in the fight for Champions League football next season.

Borussia Dortmund currently sit fifth in the Bundesliga after 29 games. Dortmund have 16 wins, eight draws and five losses, leaving them on 56 points, equal with RB Leipzig in the last Champions League spot.

Dortmund have been average in front of goal by their standards this season. In 29 games, Dortmund have scored 55 goals, an average of 1.96 goals a game. However, Dortmund have been better in defence, conceding 34 goals and keeping nine clean sheets.

Bayer Leverkusen, on the other hand, currently sit top of the league and have been crowned champions. In 29 games, Leverkusen have 25 wins and four draws which leaves them on 79 points, 16 points ahead of Bayern Munich.

Leverkusen have been amongst the goals this season, scoring 69 goals, an average of 2.46 goals a game. However, Leverkusen have been the best of the best in defence, conceding just 19 goals and keeping 15 clean sheets.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen have met 50 times in their histories, with the first meeting coming back in 1999. Dortmund have the marginally better record in the fixture with 22 wins in comparison to Bayer Leverkusen’s 16 wins, the other 12 games ending in a draw.

The last five games in this fixture have seen three wins for Dortmund, one win for Leverkusen and one draw. Also, three of the last five games have seen both teams on the scoresheet, with two games having seven goals.

Xabi Alonso only has one injury to contend with, that being to Adam Hlozek who is out until early May.

          Recent Form

In their last six games in all competitions, Dortmund have four wins and two losses.

Although Eintracht Frankfurt took the lead in the 13th minute through former Dortmund man Mario Gotze, Adeyemi equalised for Dortmund before halftime. In the second half, a late goal from Mats Hummels and an even later penalty from Emre Can gave Dortmund the 3 - 1 win.

The next time out saw Dortmund pick up their first win at Allianz Arena in ten years. Adeyemi opened the scoring in the tenth minute and Julian Ryerson secured the 2 - 0 win with his goal in the 83rd minute.

However, back at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund slumped to a loss against Stuttgart. Despite Stuttgart having just two shots on target in comparison to Dortmund’s seven shots on target, Serhou Guirassy scored the only goal of the game in the 64th minute to give Stuttgart the 1 - 0 win.

The first leg of the Champions League Quarter Finals saw Dortmund in Spain to take on Atletico Madrid. Rodrigo De Paul gave Atletico the early lead in the fourth minute and Samuel Lino doubled the lead before halftime. Sebastien Haller did score late on for Dortmund but Atletico held on for the 2 - 1 win.

A quickfire brace from Marcel Sabitzer gave Dortmund the 2 - 0 lead, but a goal from Maximilian Wober got Borussia Monchengladbach on the scoresheet before halftime. Despite the red card to Adeyemi early in the second half, Dortmund held on to the 2 - 1 win.

Dortmund earned an emphatic 4-2 victory at home to Atletico Madrid to earn themselves a place in the Champions League semi-finals where they'll face PSG.

In their last five games in all competitions, Bayer Leverkusen have five wins.

Maximilian Beier gave Hoffenheim a shock lead at halftime, converting one of Hoffenheim’s two shots on target. However, with just two minutes of normal time remaining, Robert Andrich and Patrik Schick both scored to give Leverkusen the 2 - 1 win.

The Semi Finals of the DFB-Pokal saw Leverkusen host Bundesliga 2 side Dusseldorf. Jeremie Frimpong, Amine Adli and Florian Wirtz all scored in the first half to give Leverkusen the 3 - 0 lead at halftime. Wirtz converted a penalty in the second half to secure the 4 - 0 win for Leverkusen.

Back in the Bundesliga, Leverkusen were in the capital to face Union Berlin. Following the red card to Union Berlin’s Robin Gosens in the added time of the first half, Wirtz converted a penalty to give Leverkusen the 1 - 0 win.

In the first leg of the Europa League Quarter Finals, Leverkusen hosted West Ham. The Hammers had just one shot on target in comparison to Leverkusen’s 13 shots on target as Jonas Hofmann and Victor Boniface both scored late on in a 2 - 0 win for Leverkusen.

To win their first Bundesliga title, Bayer Leverkusen took on Werder Bremen. A hat-trick from Wirtz, a goal from Granit Xhaka and a penalty from Boniface gave Leverkusen a big 5 - 0 win.

Bayer Leverkusen will also travel to London to take on West Ham in the second leg of the Europa League Quarter Finals.
