Bochum enters this match off the back of heavy 3-0 and 4-0 defeats to Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg having managed shock 2-1 and 1-0 wins over Union Berlin and Elversberg following a 4-1 away loss to Stuttgart.

Their last win in Bundesliga 2 came via a 3-0 scoreline at home to Sandhausen.

Arminia are facing back-to-back relegations in the face unless their form improves, they have lost four of their last five matches, having been beaten 3-2, 1-0, 6-0 and 2-0 by Kaiserlautern, Greuther Furth, Stuttgart and Hannover 96. The only anomaly in their last five was a 2-0 home win over St. Pauli on 22nd October.

Spezia and Udinese go up against one another with the away side looking to recapture the form that saw them have a good start to the season.

Spezia are on a three-match losing run, having been beaten by AC Milan and Fiorentina 2-1 in back-to-back matches, as well as 1-0 away at Salernitana. Prior to this, they had beaten Brescia 3-1 in the Coppa Italia, as well as earning a point at Cremonese via a 2-2 draw.

On the other hand, Udinese are winless in their last five, seeing them slide down to eighth in the table. Three of their last five matches have resulted in draws, having drawn 1-1 with Lecce, as well as 0-0 with both Cremonese and Lazio. They also suffered back-to-back defeats in mid-October, having lost 3-2 and 2-1 to Lazio and Monza.

The final game on this list comes from La Liga, where bottom-of-the-table Elche hosts 14th-place Girona at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.

Elche are without a win in their last five matches, but, did manage two 2-2 draws with Valencia and Espanyol. Their other three fixtures have resulted in 3-0, 1-0 and 2-1 losses to Real Madrid, Getafe and Real Valladolid.

Girona ended a recent winless run with an impressive 2-1 home win over Athletic Club thanks to goals by David Lopez and Ivan Martin. Prior to this, they had managed three 1-1 draws with Real Madrid, Osasuna and Cadiz. In the aforementioned sequence of matches they had also lost 3-2 away at Almeria.
