Ready for the Miami Grand Prix 2025? Our F1 betting experts break down the key drivers, strategies, and data trends you need to make smarter bets for the 4th May race at Miami International Autodrome.
Ahead of this weekend’s 2025 Miami GP, we’ve taken a look at the best betting tips from Round six of this year’s F1 World Championship.
Oscar Piastri has been the standout driver this season, as he has managed to qualify on pole position in two times, having done so at China and Bahrain.
The Australian driver also managed to get the fastest lap of the race in Bahrain, as he set a lap time of 1:35.140 in Sakhir.
In terms of race wins, Piastri has won 60% of the races this season, having won at China, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Piastri is priced at 15/2 to repeat his heroics of Bahrain, where he managed to earn pole position, earn the point for the fastest lap of the race, while also finishing on the top step of the podium.
McLaren looks to have the dominant car for the second season running, as they have won four of their first five races as a constructor.
So far this season, Oscar Piastri has shown a level of confidence and maturity that makes him look like a potential future world champion, as the 24-year-old has managed two Pole Positions, while earning four podiums, winning three times when he finished in the top three.
Although Piastri’s last race win was via a 2.8 second margin ahead of Verstappen in Saudi Arabia, the Australian has earned dominant victories in both China and Bahrain, finishing 9.7 seconds clear of Norris in Shanghai and 15.5 seconds ahead of George Russell in Sakhir.
Last time out in Saudi Arabia, Lewis Hamilton finished seventh-place, while Charles Leclerc finished on the podium. The seven-time World Champion finished just 4.5 seconds behind Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli.
In general, Hamilton and Leclerc have simultaneously managed to finish in the top six twice in the last four races, doing so at China and Bahrain.
At present, Hamilton sits seventh in the World Driver’s Championship with 31 points, while Leclerc has amassed 47 points, resulting in the Monégasque driver being fifth-place.
At present, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri sits at the top of the standings, as the Australian driver has accumulated 99 points, winning three times this season at China, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, while his teammate, Lando Norris, is ten points adrift as things stand; the British driver earned his first win at this race last season.
The only other driver to win a race this season is Max Verstappen, with the Dutchman earning a sensational victory at Japan, while pushing Piastri close in Saudi Arabia. The reigning four-time World Champion sits just 12 points off top.
