While the media headlines are all focusing on Galopin Des Champs, Banbridge comes here in career best form. He won the second biggest chase of the season (behind this race), the King George VI, on Boxing Day, and is still unexposed at this trip.

Angels Dawn was running well in this race last year until falling two out and would have had every chance. This year's renewal looks easier, with no hot favourite, and as a mare, she gets a generous weight allowance. She has won two Point to Points from two starts this season and easily beat Ryehill who reopposes today.

Gordon Elliott has won this race multiple times in recent years, including in 2024. Wodhooh won over course & distance with this jockey on board in December when last season beating some very tidy horses home. She's up in the handicap, but she has won her last 6 races in a row and is clearly still improving.
