Huddersfield Town will be hoping to break into the top six before teams play this weekend in League One, as they take on a Bolton Wanderers side who are four points adrift from the teams above after failing to capitalise during the international break.
Lee Grant's side began the season in fine form, winning four of their first five league games. Still, since this run, the former Manchester United goalkeeper has seen his side pick up only two wins from their following six games, with their recent game ending in a 2-1 defeat to Stockport County. Aside from this, Huddersfield Town have been strong at home this season despite their form stuttering recently. The Terriers have won four of their six league matches at home, only losing once, which means Bolton are likely to find it difficult against the home side.
Bolton Wanderers had an excellent opportunity to take advantage of those around them due to games being cancelled, but succumbed to an embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Burton Albion. Steven Schumacher's side are without a clean sheet in their last three matches, and they come into this one with only two wins from their previous five games in the league.
That being said, with Bolton's form being inconsistent as they face a side who are strong at home, our prediction is that Huddersfield Town will come away with a 2-1 win.
Prediction: Huddersfield 2-1 Bolton
