Group C sees the US and Bolivia take on Panama and Uruguay. The Stars and Stripes will look to start strong and attempt to pip Uruguay to the top spot whereas Bolivia will look to shock the group and fight for a knock-out spot.

The US is a CONCACAF nation and therefore had to win their way into the Copa America, this time through the Nations League. The US beat Jamaica 3 - 1 in the Semi-finals and then beat Mexico 2 - 0 in the Final to secure their spot in the competition.

This will be The Stars and Stripes’ fifth appearance at the Copa America after their debut in 1993. The best finish for the US in the competition is the Semi-finals where in 2016 the US lost 4 - 0 to Argentina and in 1995 the US lost 1 - 0 to Brazil.

Bolivia did not have to qualify for the Copa America as a CONMEBOL nation. Since their debut back in 1926, Bolivia have made 29 appearances in the competition and have won it once.

In 1963, Bolivia hosted the Copa America and won it for the first time after winning five out of their six games. In 1997, Bolivia came close to their second title when they made the Final but lost 3 - 1 to Brazil.

The US and Bolivia have met eight times in their histories, with the first meeting coming back in 1993 in an international friendly. Nothing separates the two sides with both the US and Bolivia having two wins to their name, with a draw the most common outcome, happening on four occasions.

The last five games in this fixture have seen one draw and two wins each for the US and Bolivia, with all five games having just one side on the scoresheet.

            Recent Form

In their last five games in all competitions, the US have two wins and three losses.

In an international friendly, the US took on Slovenia. Despite the US having 69% of the possession and six more shots, Nejc Gradisar scored the only goal of the game in the 26th minute to give Slovenia the 1 - 0 win.

The CONCACAF Nations League Semi-finals saw the US face Jamaica. The US were behind early when Greg Leigh found the back of the net for Jamaica in the first minute. The US finally responded through an own goal in the 96th minute from Cory Burke to send it to extra time where Wright grabbed two goals to give the US the 3 - 1 win.

The Final saw rivals USA and Mexico go head to head. Mexico had just two shots on target as Adams put the US ahead on the stroke of halftime. Reyna secured the 2 - 0 win in the second half to win the Nations League and a spot in the Copa America.

The US were brought back down to reality in an international friendly against Colombia as Jhon Arias and Rafael Santos Borre Maury both scored to give Colombia the 2 - 0 lead at halftime. Weah got the US on the scoresheet but goals from Richard Rios, Jorge Carrascal and Luis Sinisterra gave Colombia the 5 - 1 win.

The last time out for the US was against Brazil. Rodrygo opened the scoring for Brazil in the 17th minute but Pulisic equalised before halftime. Despite the US having seven shots on target and Brazil having 12, neither side scored again and the game finished a 1 - 1 draw.

In their last five games in all competitions, Bolivia have one win and four losses.

An international friendly saw Bolivia take on Algeria. Amine Gouiri gave Algeria the lead right on halftime but Algaranaz equalised for Bolivia just minutes into the second half. Sagredo put Bolivia ahead with 20 minutes to go but late goals from Yassine Benzia and Aissa Mandi gave Algeria the 3 - 2 win.

Bolivia bounced back in another friendly against Andorra. Vaca scored the only goal of the game in the 13th minute to give Bolivia the 1 -win.

However, the next time out against Mexico saw Bolivia on the wrong side of the 1 - 0 scoreline. Efrain Alvarez found the back of the net with the only goal of the game in the 47th minute to give Mexico the 1 - 0 win.

Miguel Terceros’ late goal for Bolivia was just a consolation goal as goals from Enner Valencia and John Yeboah and a penalty from Jordy Caicedo gave Ecuador the 3 - 1 win.

The most recent outing for Bolivia was against Colombia. Arias, Jhon Cordoba and Luis Diaz all scored in the first half in the 3 - 0 win for Colombia as both sides ended the match with ten men, Daniel Munoz and Cesar Menacho sent off in the second half.

            Footy Accumulators Prediction

The US look likely to start their Copa America campaign with a big win over Bolivia with Pulisic likely to get his name on the scoresheet. USA 4 - 0 Bolivia.
