Smart Acca Picks: Switzerland vs Portugal Could Provide Plenty of Action

North Macedonia takes on Gibraltar in League C Group 4 with the home side coming into this game as heavy favourites.

Next up on this list is Malta versus San Marino in League D Group 2.

Malta were beaten 2-1 away at Estonia last time out after earning a 2-0 win away at San Marino. Prior to this, they had beaten Kuwait 2-0 and Azerbaijan 1-0 before going on to lose 1-0 to Venezuela.

Predictably, San Marino have lost all of their last five fixtures, doing so by a 1-0 scoreline to Iceland, as well as 2-0 to Malta, Estonia and Cape Verde. Before this sequence of results, they lost 2-1 to Lithuania.

Switzerland hosts Portugal in League A Group 2, just seven days after their last meeting, in which Fernando Santos’ side won 4-0 thanks to goals from William Carvalho, Cristiano Ronaldo (2) and Joao Cancelo.

Since then, the Swiss have lost 1-0 to Spain, having been beaten 2-1 by both the Czech Republic and England on either side of a 1-1 draw with Kosovo.

Portugal defeated the Czech Republic 2-0 last time out, on top of already earning 3-1 and 2-0 wins over Turkey and North Macedonia prior to their thrashing of Switzerland.

Slovenia and Serbia go up against each other in League B Group 4 of the Nations League with Slovenia looking to avenge the 4-1 hammering they received from the Serbs last time.

Last time out, Slovenia could only draw 0-0 with Norway, before their defeat to Serbia, they had also lost 2-0 to Sweden after drawing 0-0 and 1-1 with Qatar and Croatia.

Serbia have won three of their last five including their win against Sunday’s opponents, following 1-0 victories over Sweden and Hungary on either side of 3-0 and 1-0 defeats to Denmark and Norway.

The final tip on this list comes from Georgia against Bulgaria, with the home side looking to repeat their thumping victory in Razgrad.

All of Georgia’s last three matches have seen Over 2.5 Goals scored in them, following convincing 3-0, 5-2 and 4-0 victories over North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Gibraltar, having initially drawn 0-0 with Albania and beaten Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Georgia’s 5-2 victory over Bulgaria was the second time in the last 12 months that they hammered their opponents, having also thrashed them 4-1 back in September.

The away side could only draw 1-1 with Gibraltar and North Macedonia on either side of their home loss to Georgia. Prior to the aforementioned results, Bulgaria had been beaten 2-1 by both Croatia and Qatar.
