Crystal Palace are on the lookout for a new manager following Roy Hodgson’s announcement that he will be taking a break from the stresses of Premier League football at the end of the current campaign, which coincides with the end of the 73-year-old’s contract.
Hodgson has been Palace manager since September 2017, when the Eagles dismissed Frank de Boer following a poor start to the league season. Since then, Hodgson has managed his boyhood club 160 times and has consolidated their position in the Premier League despite being given a limited budget, as well as having the oldest average starting line-up in the division.
