Southampton are on the lookout for a new manager following the sacking of Russell Martin in the aftermath of the Saints’ humiliating 5-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 38-year-old managed to earn promotion to the Premier League with the St Mary’s club last season as they won the 2024 Championship play-off final at the expense of Leeds United. However, things quickly turned sour in the top-flight, as the South Coast club have accumulated just five points from 16 league matches.
Martin oversaw 73 matches as Southampton manager, winning 33, drawing 14 and losing 26, equating to a 45% win percentage.
