Premier League Summer Series Tips 2025

The Premier League series is underway with the inaugural competition already seeing the opening matchday spring up a few notable talking points.

Manchester United opened their tournament with a 2-1 victory against West Ham United as Bruno Fernandes once again showed why he is deemed invaluable to the club with a brace. Matheus Cunha made his debut for the Red Devils as patterns of play and Ruben Amorim's system had shown signs of improvement against the Hammers.

David Moyes suffered a heavy defeat, as his Everton side were humbled in a 3-0 loss to AFC Bournemouth, with Andoni Iroala's side looking impressive in pre-season despite the losses in the transfer market.

We have picked out our best value tips and free bookmaker offers for the action on Wednesday!

Bournemouth & West Ham to win

West Ham United have every chance of walking away with three points when they take on an Everton side that is currently depleted through injury concerns. The Toffees' defence was extremely vulnerable against Bournemouth, as James Garner and Jake O'Brien were the makeshift pairing at the back because of injuries to James Tarkowski, Michael Keane and Jarrad Branthewaite. The Hammers are unbeaten in their previous three meetings against Everton.

AFC Bournemouth take on Manchester United in the second game on matchday two, with the Cherries having every opportunity to walk away with maximum points as Ruben Amorim is set to rotate his side and assess his options. The Cherries have won their previous three matches following the 3-0 win against the Toffees in the opening game. Still, more importantly, AFC Bournemouth are unbeaten in the last four meetings between the two sides, as the Red Devils have not recorded a victory against AFC Bournemouth since May 2023.

Bowen & Ouattara to score

Jarrod Bowen of West Ham United and Dango Ouattara of AFC Bournemouth are our expert picks to make an impact on matchday two of the Premier League Summer Series.

Jarrod Bowen is West Ham United's talisman, and last season Bowen was in tremendous form with 13 goals and eight assists for the Irons. Bowen was the bright spark against Manchester United, scoring the only goal of the game for the Hammers in a 2-1 defeat.

Dango Ouattara was ever-present for AFC Bournemouth last season, as the forward provided 11 goal contributions in 21 league starts for the Cherries. Ouattara scored the second goal in Bournemouth's excellent 3-0 victory against Everton.
