Premier League 2026/27 Top 4 Odds with bet365

The Premier League makes its glorious return in a few weeks, as teams up and down the division look to establish their ambitions for the upcoming season.

Last time out, Arsenal ended their 22-year-drought for a Premier League title and the league said goodbye to Pep Guardiola. West Ham United suffered relegation, as Tottenham Hotspur survived for yet another disappointing campaign in North London.

This season, Coventry City make their return to the big time, joined by Hull City and Ipswich Town.

The top four race from last season certainly threw up some surprises, with the likes of Manchester United finishing in third place and Liverpool finishing outside of the conventional top four last season.

Ahead of the new season, bet365 also has a new offer for customers which is Bet £10 Get £30 in Free Bets.

We have picked out three bets, based on probability and in order of certainty for teams to finish in the top four next season.

Most probable - Liverpool

50% Chance - Tottenham Hotspur

Least probable - Aston Villa

Liverpool - 4/9

Andoni Iraola was one of the most sought-after managers from the Premier League after guiding Bournemouth to a European finish last season, and now the former Cherries manager is in the dugout at Anfield ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Last season, Arne Slot's Liverpool side underperformed given their league success the year prior, with many of their established stars, such as the departing Mohamed Salah, underperforming by his high standards. The Reds scraped their way to 5th place last season, but more is expected to come of the Reds, especially with Iraola in charge.

This season, we should see the likes of Florian Wirtz featured more prominently in Iraola's system and the return of Alexander Isak should provide enough firepower needed for the Reds to be a guarantee for top 4.

Liverpool still need a defensive midfielder and wide options, but on the latter, the Reds are looking to acquire the services of Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain.

Tottenham - 3/1

Tottenham Hotspur have had their two worst Premier League campaigns in the space of two seasons, despite the first season's Europa League success under Ange Postecoglou. A wild array of managers, from Thomas Frank to the disastrous spell under Igor Tudor, left Spurs fighting on the final day of last season, avoiding relegation at the expense of West Ham United.

Roberto de Zerbi was brought in to steady the ship, and the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager just about managed the Lilywhites over the line. Spurs have wasted little to no time in bolstering their ranks by signing Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes in midfield, whilst utilising the free agent market to bring in experience in Marco Senesi and Andrew Robertson. Tottenham Hotspur will also be welcoming the likes of Mohammed Kudus, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski back into the fold, who were sorely missed last season.

De Zerbi has shown with Brighton in the past that his teams can play expansive football, which aligns with the philosophy of a traditional Tottenham side. Spurs have no European football next season, which benefited Manchester United last season, so Spurs have no extra distractions in their pursuit of European football.

Aston Villa - 4/1

Coming at 4/1 and considered an outsider for the top 4 according to bet365's latest odds, are Europa League winners Aston Villa. Unai Emery has done a magnificent job for the Villains by guiding them to another Champions League qualification during his tenure, and for his side it will be about maintaining that position come the end of the season.

Aston Villa have faced another summer where key players have departed, with the likes of Youri Tielemans, Morgan Rogers and Lucas Digne all departing for Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. With the departures of Rogers and Tielemans in particular, the Villains have moved to sign the likes of Johan Manzambi, Joao Gomes and Alejandro Garnacho.

Balancing the demands of the Champions League and the Premier League has been a challenge for the Villains in the past and they could face similar problems this season.

Our Prediction

The top four race is surely going to be an intriguing battle, with several teams vying for those four places and potentially a fifth-placed coefficient. Should England not receive the coveted lottery of a fifth-place route into Europe, our top four predictions are this (no particular order)

  • Arsenal
  • Manchester City
  • Liverpool
  • Chelsea

Arsenal are the league champions, and although a fall off is considered having just won the league and the pressure to retain it, the Gunners are expected to challenge once again and will be very unlikely to finish outide of the top four.

Manchester City ran Arsenal close in the title race last season, finishing seven points behind the Gunners and that was in large part to Manchester City dropping points at the likes of Everton and Bournemouth late on in the season. Enzo Maresca has Premier League experience with his time at Chelsea and should find the transition into Manchester City relatively straightforward.

Liverpool were admittedly held back from a tactical perspective under Arne Slot last season, so one would expect Andoni Iraola to improve upon this. Whilst they still need various positions filled in terms of recruitment, their squad is good enough for a top-four finish undoubtedly.

Chelsea have the luxury this season of no European football, similarly to Tottenham Hotspur, but as it stands, the Blues currently boast a plethora of attacking options that Spurs can't compete with. Joao Pedro will be key, as well as a return to form for Cole Palmer.
