Super 6 Predictions Round 25

super 6

Brentford 2-2 Nottingham Forest

Brentford are extremely strong on home soil as they enter this game unbeaten at home all season, having also won all of their last five in front of their own fans.

Forest, though, are no mugs away from home, and their only losses on the road this season have been at Arsenal and Manchester City, with Nuno's men claiming four points from games at Anfield and Stamford Bridge.

Generally, when Brentford are involved, there are goals, especially in home games, where the Bees have seen an average of 6.2 goals scored per game in their last five league games. Similarly, Forest have seen an average of 3.75 goals scored per game in their last four games on the road, so it's fair to expect this one to throw up a few goals.

West Ham 2-2 Brighton & Hove Albion

The inconsistent nature of West Ham United and Brighton and Hove Albion makes us lean towards a draw for this game.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have won twice in their previous five games, also facing consecutive defeats during that run against Leicester (3-1) and Arsenal (2-5). At home, West Ham United have been relatively strong in recent weeks, with three wins in five and only one loss to Arsenal, and their recent victory was a 2-1 win over Wolves in a high-pressure game for Julen Lopetegui.

Brighton and Hove Albion are now without a win in four league games, following their recent 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace. Brighton has drawn twice in their last four games, with neither side keeping a clean sheet in their previous three. Expect goals in this one, as Over 2.5 goals have been scored in seven of the previous nine involving the Hammers and eight of the last nine involving Brighton.

Ipswich Town 1-2 Newcastle United

Newcastle are in good form heading into this game having lost only one of their last five games, winning two, while also drawing 3-3 with Liverpool in what was a very good performance.

Ipswich, though, are still winless on home soil and have lost three of their last four in front of their own fans. Both of these sides are pretty reliable BTTS picks, with Newcastle having seen goals at both ends in four of their last five games, while Ipswich have seen BTTS occur in three of their last five, including both of their last two.

Crystal Palace 1-2 Arsenal

Expect the league game to be close again as their EFL Cup fixture proved to be in midweek.

Arsenal are in exceptional form, having not lost in their last nine games in all competitions, with their last Premier League defeat coming against Newcastle United (1-0) in November. The Gunners are unbeaten in their previous six league games, with three wins over Nottingham Forest (3-0), West Ham United (2-5) and Manchester United (2-0). Arsenal have also won the last five meetings between the two sides, having scored first in four of the previous five meetings.

Crystal Palace are winless in their previous three following two draws and a 2-0 defeat at home to Fulham.

Fulham 3-1 Southampton

Fulham have been excellent this season under Marco Silva, as the hosts sit a point outside the European places after 16 games played.

Southampton have been the worst-performing team in the league following their 5-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur, which leaves them with five points from 16 games. The hosts are unbeaten in their last four league games, drawing three and winning once against Brighton and Hove Albion (3-1). They remain unbeaten in their previous two home games following a 1-1 draw against Arsenal.

Southampton are winless in their last six games, having also lost their last three consecutive games, conceding five on two occasions against Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

Following their victory over Southampton midweek, Liverpool are now unbeaten in 20 games across all competitions. More impressively, Arne Slot's side remains unbeaten away from home in the league this season, boasting five wins and two draws.

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to secure a win in their last three home league games, suffering two losses to Chelsea (3-4) and Ipswich Town (1-2). This fixture has been an entertaining encounter in recent years, with over 2.5 goals scored in seven of the previous eight meetings, and both teams finding the net in the last eight match-ups.

The hosts approach this game with two wins from five in the league, including losses to Chelsea and Bournemouth (1-0). Liverpool have claimed victory in four of their last six league matches, but have drawn their most recent two.
