Finishing Positions
PSG won Ligue 1 last season by a massive 19 point margin, wrapping up the title in early April.
Tottenham, on the other hand, finished just 17th in the Premier League. 13 points clear of relegation, they were never in danger of relegation, but still finished 18 points adrift of 10th placed Brentford.
Managers
Luis Enrique joined PSG in 2023 and has boasted a 69% win record in competitive games. He won 3 trophies in his first season at the club and followed it up with 4 last year.
Thomas Frank left Brentford in June after a 9 year spell. He was initially an assistant coach, before being promoted to head coach in 2018. Promotion to the Premier League followed in 2021, before he established the Bees as a mid-table team despite various off the field issues with Ivan Toney and numerous injuries.
Summer Transfers
PSG have made two big summer signings - Zabarnyi joins from Bournemouth, while Chevalier looks to be Donnarumma's long term replacement in goal. No key players have left.
Spurs have lost talisman Heung-min Son, who joined LAFC. They have been active in the market though to replace him; Kudus is a statement signing from fellow London club West Ham, while Tel and Danso have had their deals made permanent. Ex-Fulham player Palhinha joins on loan from Bayern Munich too.
