Angers and PSG face off in a meeting of 14th and first in the Ligue 1 standings.
The last meeting between these two sides resulted in a 2-1 victory for Mauricio Pochettino’s men back in October at the Parc des Princes. Angers actually took the lead in this match thanks to a first-half strike by Angelo Fulgini, before 69th and 87th-minute goals by Danilo Pereira and Kylian Mbappe turned the game on its head.
Angers have just one win in their last four matches since their 1-0 home loss to Reims, having beaten Brest, before a dramatic 3-2 defeat away at Lyon. The hosts last two matches have resulted in 1-1 draws with both Lille and Nantes.
PSG can virtually seal the title here due to a significantly higher goal difference than Marseille, as they are 15 points ahead of their bitter rivals with just six games to go.
Pochettino’s side have won four of their last five matches, with the anomaly being a shock 3-0 defeat to AS Monaco on 20th March. Before this loss, PSG had beaten Bordeaux 3-0 at home and since then, having hammered Lorient 5-1, Clermont Foot 6-1, as well as narrowly scraping past Marseille 2-1 last time out as Neymar and Mbappe got on the scoresheet.
