Fulham to win
Wolverhampton Wanderers only have two games left before they play Championship football next season, as their fate had been sealed for quite some time. Rob Edwards’ side heads into this fixture with no wins in their previous six league matches with four defeats against Brighton & Hove Albion (3-0), Tottenham Hotspur (0-1), Leeds United (3-0) and West Ham United (4-0).
As for Fulham, the Cottagers still harbour hopes of a European place this season and remain only three points behind Brentford, assuring eight places could clinch a European spot this season. Fulham have won three of the previous five league meetings between the two clubs, including a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage earlier this season.
Brighton to win
The home side is in good league form with no defeats in their previous seven, however, over 50% of their results have been draws during this run of fixtures and the hosts have only won three of their previous 10 Premier League matches. The home side are without a clean sheet in their previous four matches and they face a Brighton & Hove Albion side who have scored first in five of their last seven.
The Seagulls are in excellent form, with five league wins in their last seven matches, with the defeat to Newcastle United the only slight hiccup for the away side. Brighton & Hove Albion will have the competitive edge for this fixture since the Seagulls still have something to play for, whereas Leeds won't have that pressure.
Brentford to win
Brentford have had a brilliant first season under Keith Andrews, considering the pre-season expectations surrounding the Bees. The home side has been excellent at home this season with only three defeats on home soil and in their last four home league games, the Bees have remained unbeaten. Brentford’s last home fixture resulted in a 3-0 win against fellow London side, West Ham United.
Crystal Palace have all of their focus towards the UEFA Conference League final and the league form for the Eagles reflects this. Oliver Glasner’s side are without a win in their last five Premier League matches with three defeats against Manchester City (3-0), Bournemouth (3-0) and Liverpool (3-1).
Lyon to win
Lyon’s league form has picked up at the right time to aid their Champions League qualification and a win here would seal their spot automatically, should Lille also drop points in their respective fixture. The home side have won four of their previous five league matches, with notable wins against Rennes (4-2) and PSG (1-2).
RC Lens fought a credible battle in the Ligue 1 title race but were eventually overpowered by the might of Paris Saint-Germain. The visitors have picked up one league win in their last four matches and their attention will likely be focused on the Coupe de France final next Friday. So rotation is expected of the visitors to reduce the risk of injury in the upcoming final.
Rennes to win
Marseille’s league form has been inconsistent, which has now dropped the hosts outside the remit for Champions League qualification. Marseille have won only twice in their last seven league matches, with four defeats and two draws.
As for Rennes, the visitors are in excellent form and if results go in their favour this weekend, they will be playing Champions League football next season. Rennes have won four of their last five league fixtures and have also won four of their last five away from home, with their only defeat being a 4-2 defeat to Lyon.
PSG to win
Paris FC have lost two of their previous three away matches, with defeats against Stade Rennais (2-1) and Lille (0-1). The home side have the fourth-worst home record in Ligue 1 this season, with only six wins from 16 matches and 22 points gained at home.
Paris Saint-Germain are finding their best form at the perfect time, with the Champions League final against Arsenal soon approaching. The league champions are unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions, winning four of their previous five games in the league, confirming their league title with a 2-0 away win at Lens in midweek.
Lille to win
Lille are in the hot seat for Champions League football next season, knowing a win will confirm their place. The home side has been in terrific form with no defeats in their last seven matches, and five wins notably against the likes of AS Monaco (0-1), RC Lens (3-0) and Marseille (1-2).
Auxerre have OGC Nice on their tail as both of those sides look to avoid the relegation playoff. The visitors have been poor away from home, with no wins in their last five on the road and having been beaten by Lyon (3-2) in their recent away fixture.
