On 13th January, the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations kicks off as the host nation, Ivory Coast, takes on Guinea-Bissau at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan.
Heading into this year’s competition, Senegal are the holders for the first time in AFCON history having beaten record winners Egypt (7-time champions) at Olembe Stadium in Yaounde via penalties following a 0-0 draw.
