In a game that many people feel is the rightful final, PSG take on Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final this week.
Holders PSG will feel confident heading into this tie. Just like last season, they've shown notable improvements post-Christmas period and appear to be peaking at the business end of the season.
Luis Enrique's side are in very good form, winning eight of their last nine games. In this competition, they've won four in a row, beating both Chelsea and Liverpool twice. They're absolutely electric going forward and have scored 12 goals in their last four Champions League games.
Eight of their last ten games have seen over 2.5 goals, making them a reliably high-event side. Their forward line is the definition of mercurial, and both Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia enter this game with four goals in their last five games.
These two sides seem to lock horns fairly regularly, and PSG have lost five of the last six meetings between the teams, a record they'll be well aware of.
The Bavarians, meanwhile, are having an excellent campaign themselves and will feel as though this is their best chance to win this competition in quite some time.
Having knocked Real Madrid out of Europe in the last eight, they'll feel well prepared for a tie with the holders, with the team unbeaten in 19 games, winning all of their last nine.
Like PSG, Bayern have an immense arsenal of forward power, with Harry Kane (53), Michael Olise (19) and Luis Diaz (25) scoring 97 goals between them in all competitions this season. Kane in particular is in top form, scoring 12 goals in his last ten games.
The one thing that feels likely in this game is goals, but while Bayern are in top form, it would take quite some showing to win a first leg semi-final in Paris. We think there's little to separate these two teams and the Bavarians will avoid defeat, coming away with a valuable first leg stalemate.
PSG 2-2 Bayern
