Blackpool vs. QPR Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Blackpool vs. QPR prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.

Queens Park Rangers look to build on a positive result last time out as they face relegation threatened Blackpool in the Championship this time out.

Blackpool currently sit 22nd in the Championship with seven wins, eleven draws and eighteen losses from thirty-six games this season.

The Tangerines have had a difficult time in the Championship this season and are looking increasingly likely to drop down to League One as the weeks go by.

They enter this game amidst a poor run of form having drawn one and lost three of their last four matches, the most recent of which was a 2-0 defeat away Bristol City.

The defeat at Bristol City was a disappointing one given their previous game saw them take a point against league leaders Burnley in a result they would have hoped to build off.

Their record at home is fairly impressive, though, having gone unbeaten in their last six games on home soil (W2 D4 L0).

Blackpool sit six points shy of safety but having won just one of their last nineteen league matches it looks fairly unlikely they'll close that gap with just ten games remaining. If they suffer another defeat this weekend it could be curtains.

Queens Park Rangers currently sit 19th in the Championship with eleven wins, nine draws and sixteen losses from thirty-six games this season.

QPR have had a frankly dismal campaign in the Championship in the Championship having embarked upon a long winless run that had them looking like serious relegation contenders for a number of weeks.

They do, though, enter this game having finally won a game as they beat Watford 1-0 last weekend.

Under the guidance of new management in the shape of Gareth Ainsworth, QPR will be hoping that they've finally turned a corner and can kick on and progress for the remainder of the season.

QPR haven't won any of their last six games away from home so they'll be hoping to capitalise on what is a great opportunity to secure three points on the road.

QPR were beaten 0-1 by Blackpool back in August and will be very disappointing if a repeat result occurs here. Blackpool are tough to beat at home so three points won't come easy for The Hoops here, but they'll have the wind in their sails after winning last time out so they've got a decent chance.

Kenny Dougall and Morgan Rogers could both start here.

          QPR Team News
