The first set of Championship midweek games kicks off this weekend with Plymouth Argyle making the trip to Bristol City this Tuesday evening off the back of winless games last time out for either side.
As most of Plymouth's away days require lengthy travels around the country, they will be pleased to be at least heading to only Bristol for this week's battle, as it is the closest away day for the side in the Championship.
Argyle were beaten by the in-form Preston North End last time out, as Ryan Hardie scored once again for his side. Plymouth were, however, 1-0 down inside a minute and 2-0 down just 24 minutes later.
The Pilgrims have only managed to put together two wins in the Championship, beating Huddersfield Town on the opening weekend before losses to Southampton and Birmingham City and a draw with Watford. They did, on the other hand, register a sensational win over Blackburn Rovers just before the international break.
As for Bristol, they drew 0-0 with West Bromwich Albion over the weekend while they managed to defeat Swansea City in South Wales just before the international break with a goal each in the second half from Mark Sykes and Sam Bell.
The Robins are in 11th heading into this game, having scored five goals and let in five too. Their other win of the season has seen Bristol defeat Millwall at The Den.
