In what is set to be the final game at the helm for Neil Warnock, the Yorkshire man will lead Huddersfield Town out at the John Smith's Stadium for a battle with Stoke City in the midst of more struggles for the side.
Warnock was brought in last season to take Huddersfield out of the relegation zone and into safety. He did just that, and although they survived by only a handful of points, what the former Cardiff City boss managed to steer his side to safety and further etch his name in greatness.
However, he has now decided to depart the struggling Championship side after coming out of retirement at 74 years old. Now, this is likely to be his final game in professional management, having already called it a day once upon a time.
Despite the fears running around the John Smith's Stadium these days, Huddersfield are heading into this one off the back of two wins in a row that saw them first beat West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthornes with a finish from Delano Burgzorg coming in before a finish in the 96th minute for Jack Rudoni that won the game.
Last time out, the Terries would play hosts to Rotherham United and won the game with a goal from Josh Koroma and another for Sorba Thomas. This now keeps them in 17th and above the bottom three by five points after six games. On the other hand, despite two wins recently, this cannot force us to overlook the fact they have lost three times and managed to let in 10 goals from six outings and score just six times.
Those defeats for Warnock's side have seen them lose in a terrible loss to Norwich City at home, as they also managed to lose at home to Leicester City. They are also out of the EFL Cup at the first round stage, as Boro beat them 3-2 in yet another home defeat. Huddersfield have also lost to Plymouth Argyle this season and drawn with Middlesbrough.
As for Stoke, they come into this one further down the table in 19th after a stunning four defeats in just six games - this has seen them lose the most games for those outside of the bottom three right now. Worse yet, the Potters have managed to secure just two wins of their own and score only five times - only the bottom two clubs have scored fewer.
Stoke's wins have seen them defeat Watford at home and Rotherham United at the bet365 Stadium too, and they've also managed to secure another win over Rotherham in a 6-1 victory in the EFL Cup first round.
Last time out, however, they managed to lose 1-0 to Norwich City on the road after a home loss to Preston North End. This now means the club are on a three-game losing run in the league and lost both matches since that stunning win over Rotherham in the EFL Cup.
