Leeds United make the trip to the east of England to meet with the in-form Hull City after a promising return to the win column for the Whites that saw them register their second away win of the season.
It has been a tough journey for Leeds so far in their return to the Championship. However, the club head into this one having beaten Millwall at The Den 3-0, as Joel Pirore carried on his excellent form with a brace before Georginio Rutter netted late on in the game.
This does now mark a run of four games without a loss inside 90 minutes for Leeds, as they lost to Salford City on a penalty shootout in the EFL Cup second round. However, they have also managed to draw with West Brom 1-1 and Sheffield Wednesday 0-0, as they even secured a 4-3 win over the in-form Ipswich Town where Rutter and Pirore bagged again, alongside goals from Wilfried Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra.
The Whites have now moved into 10th in the table with seven goals let in and 10 scored of their own, while they have also lost only once but won just two games this season. At the same time, their wins have seen them only secure victories on the road and fail to win a game at Elland Road. In some ways, this bodes well for them away ti Hull.
As for the Tigers, they come into this game up in fifth in the table in what has been one of their best starts to a Championship season for a long time. They stunned the favourites to win the title, Leicester City, at the King Power Stadium just before the international break, as Liam Delap bagged in the first half. Stunningly, they conceded 21 shots but only one of those hit the target for the Foxes.
Other results have seen them draw recently with Bristol City and Coventry City, while also defeating Blackburn Rovers. Their only loss this season has seen them lose 2-1 to Norwich City at Carrow Road.
