Hull City will welcome Preston North End to the MKM Stadium this weekend as the Tigers aim to get back into the win column after a struggle in February as 13th meets with 14th in the Championship on Saturday.
Preston played hosts to Luton Town in midweek and left Deepdale with a point and another winless result. It has now thrown them way further away from the playoffs than they have been for most of the season, while the Lilywhites saw Troy Parrott score from the penalty spot after Ben Whiteman's red card.
As for Hull, they lost to Norwich City 3-1 at Carrow Road in midweek after a 0-0 draw with Stoke City. They did, however, edge past Cardiff City 1-0 just prior to those results as well as beating Queens Park Rangers 3-0 to make it three wins in a row at the time and give them great hope of surviving in the division.
Only goals scored separates these two sides heading into this one. Hull have so far played a game more and subsequently lost one more match as a result. They have both won 11 times, drawn eight, as Preston have lost 12 compared to Hull's 13. PNE have still only scored 28 goals, however, letting in 37. On the exact opposite end of the goals difference tallies, Hull have scored 10 more but let in 10 more too.
