Blackburn Rovers make the trip to Elland Road to take on Leeds in the early Saturday kick off in the Championship this weekend. Leeds are looking to close in on the top spot on the table, whereas Blackburn aim for a top half finish.

Leeds were back to winning ways against Hull City. Sam Byram opened the scoring in the ninth minute for Leeds but Fabio Carvalho equalised before halftime. However, an 88th minute penalty from Summerville and a 97th minute goal from James gave Leeds the 3 - 1 win. The next time out saw Leeds stumble against Coventry. Ellis Simms and Haji Wright gave Coventry the 2 - 0 lead early in the second half. Joel Piroe did get on the scoresheet for Leeds, but Coventry held on for the 2 - 1 win.

However, the visit from Southampton saw Blackburn only manage three shots on target in 31% of the possession in another 0 - 0 draw for Rovers.
The most recent outing for Blackburn was against Bristol City. Braces from Tommy Conway and Nahki Wells along with a goal from Anis Mehmeti gave Bristol City the 5 - 0 win.
