Two struggling teams from the Championship meet this Saturday with Queens Park Rangers welcoming Coventry City to Loftus Road as both sides sit right by one another in the table after a handful of games.
Gareth Ainsworth continues to hang by a thread in the Championship with QPR with his terrible start to life at the helm with the club spilling into this season. Heading into this game, Ainsworth's side sit down in 19th and with just two wins on the board and a terrible defensive record of 12 goals let in from eight games.
The R's drew with Birmingham City last time out in a 0-0 draw that saw them have only three shots on target and ultimately fail to get into the game throughout the 90 minutes. Prior to this, QPR drew 1-1 with Swansea City, as Lyndon Dykes netted a goal in the 92nd minute of the game to equalise for his side.
Combine this with a loss to Sunderland and it now means a three-game winless run for QPR since that 2-0 victory at the Riverside Stadium of Middlesbrough. Jack Colback scored his first goal that day, as Andre Dozzell also bagged the opener, but once again, QPR had just three shots on target and conceded nine to Boro as well.
As for Coventry, they have also failed to win any of their past three games with a 1-1 draw against Huddersfield Town on Monday night. The club also lost 3-2 to Cardiff City in South Wales before that, as Matt Godden carried on his goalscoring brilliance with a goal in either half, including his second with basically the last kick of the game.
In fact, with draws against Sunderland, Swansea City, Watford and Hull city all coming just before that defeat, it now means it has been six games without a victory for the Sky Blues, as they also defeated Middlesbrough. Once again, Godden scored again that game, as Haji Wright also netted a goal.
