The winless Swansea City are set to play hosts to Coventry City in South Wales this weekend with the two sides heading into this one in completely contrasting form after two games in the new second tier season.
The Swans have failed to secure a win in the Championship so far after drawing with Birmingham City in the first game back in early August as Jerry Yates scored once more for the club.
A visit from Northampton Town would follow with Swansea registering their first win of the season, as Joel Piroe scored twice that day alongside a finish from Josh Ginnelly. Swansea had a total of 22 shots that day with seven on target.
The club would then visit The Hawthorns and fall to a 3-2 loss to West Bromwich Albion after a goal from Harry Darling and a finish from Nathan Wood in the second half. By this point, however, they were already 3-0 down.
As for Coventry, they fell to a 2-1 loss to Leicester City on the opening weekend before a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wimbledon away from home in the EFL Cup first round. The Sky Blues returned to winning ways by beating Middlesbrough 3-0 after goals from Haji Wright, Matt Godden and an own goal, and this was the second time the club defeated Boro this year after a win in the playoff semi-finals.
