For our Swansea vs. Huddersfield prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
Huddersfield Town's great escape attempt continues this weekend as they face Swansea City in the Championship.
Swansea City currently sit 14th in the Championship with fourteen wins, eleven draws and sixteen losses from forty-one games this season.
it's been a hugely underwhelming season for The Swans who many predicted to make a serious push for the play-offs coming into this season.
Their reality has beeqell short of that, though, with the Welsh side spending the majority of the campaign languishing in the bottom half of the table.
They do enter this game in good form, though, having won three and drawn one of their last four matches, the most recent of which was a 2-0 win away at Wigan Athletic.
The result was Swansea's third clean sheet in four games and shows they're looking to finish the campaign strongly despite having nothing to play for.
Their form at home still hasn't been convincing, however, with The Swans winning just one of their last five games on home soil, drawing two and losing two of their other four.
Swansea can hope to start laying the foundations for a successful campaign next year in these final weeks of the season. They're looking good heading into this game and are favourites for three points.
Huddersfield Town currently sit 19th in the Championship with eleven wins, ten draws and twenty losses from forty-one games this season.
The Terriers have had a largely miserable campaign having spent almost its entirety in the relegation zone, but since appointing Neil Warnock as manager they've embarked upon. heroic run that has dragged them out of the relegation zone and towards safety.
They enter this game in good form having won three and drawn two of their last five matches, with all five games coming against play-off contenders.
Their most recent encounter saw them take a point from a 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers, a game that despite leading 2-0 mat half-time in they will be more than happy to have taken a point from given they were under the cosh for nearly the entire game.
They're coming into this game having won both of their last two games away from home having beaten Millwall 1-0 and Watford 3-2 on the road.
Huddersfield drew 0-0 with Swansea when the two sides met back in October and despite Swansea's good form they will feel quietly confident of getting a result here given the Welsh side aren't particularly strong on their own patch.
