For our West Brom vs. Huddersfield prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
West Bromwich Albion continue their play-off chase as they face struggling Huddersfield Town this weekend.
West Brom currently sit 9th in the Championship with fourteen wins, nine draws and twelve losses from thirty-five matches.
The Baggies have been up and down this season and after the appointment of manager Carlos Corberan they embarked upon a run that gave the appearance of a side ready to mount a serious promotion push, but they were unable to sustain their early form under Corberan and have faltered in recent weeks.
They enter this game amidst a mixed run of form having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five matches in the league.
Most recently, The Baggies beat Wigan Athletic 1-0. It was an unconvincing performance from the home side as they faced bottom of the league Wigan, but three points is what matters most and that is what they secured.
Their home form is very impressive, with Corberan's side winning four and drawing one of their last five matches on home soil having conceded just one goal in that period.
This is a hugely favourable game for West Brom as they face a side likely to drop down to League One who are hit by injuries. There is little reason to pick against The Baggies here and they should win with relative comfort.
Huddersfield Town currently sit 23rd in the Championship with eight wins, eight draws and nineteen losses from thirty-five games this season.
The Terriers have had a pretty miserable campaign this season having spent the majority of it fighting to climb out of the relegation zone, and this weekend they face the manager that took them to the play-off final just last year to remind them of how far they've fallen.
They enter this game midst a poor run of form having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 0-0 draw at home to Bristol City.
To be fair to Huddersfield they've been utterly ravaged by injuries so their survival bid has been much tougher than it could have been.
Their away form is extremely discouraging coming into this game with The Terriers having drawn one and lost four of their last five matches on the road.
These two sides drew 2-2 when they met on the opening day of the season and that is no doubt a result The Terriers would snap your hand off for this time around. It isn't likely, but you never know.
