Crystal Palace are hoping to make it two wins from two in the Conference League as they lock horns with AEK Larnaca this week.
- Date: 23/10/2025
- Kick-off: 8:00pm
- Location: Selhurst Park, West London
Crystal Palace are currently 7th in the Conference League standings with three points from one game. The Eagles faced a difficult test in their tournament opener, tasked with an away trip against Dynamo Kyiv. In what was a strong performance, goals from Eddie Nketiah and Daniel Munoz sealed a 2-0 victory.
Oliver Glasner's side come into this game in good form, with three wins, one draw and one loss from their last five games. At the weekend, Palace played out a cracker as they drew 3-3 with Bournemouth, showing commendable character to come back from 2-0 down, and they could've won it had Jean-Philippe Mateta - who is the team's top scorer with six goals this season - not missed from point-blank range at the death.
Palace have been involved in some entertaining games in recent weeks, with over 2.5 goals having been scored in four of their last five games. BTTS has also occurred in four of their last five, while Palace are unbeaten at Selhurst Park this season, winning two and drawing three of their five home games.
AEK Larnaca are 2nd in the Conference League table with three points from one game. The Cypriot side hammered AZ Alkmaar 4-0 in their first Conference League game, sealing an impressive result.
Larnaca have had a decent but unspectacular start to the season domestically, winning four, drawing one and losing two of their seven games, leaving them 5th in the table.
Like Palace, their games have tended to be goal-filled encounters of late, with four of their last five games seeing over 2.5 goals scored, with those five games averaging 4.2 goals per game.
This should be an entertaining game with a few goals on the cards, but Palace enter the game as clear and rightful favourites. They don't lose many games at Selhurst Park and given the quality in their squad, they'll back themselves to win.
