Fulham and Bristol City go head to head at Craven Cottage on Saturday in a battle of second against 16th in the Championship standings.
These two sides met last weekend at Ashton Gate in the FA Cup where Marco Silva’s side dumped the Robins out of the FA Cup 1-0 thanks to an extra-time winner by Wales international Harry Wilson after the match had finished in a 0-0 stalemate after 90 minutes.
The Cottagers will be coming into this match in full confidence having hammered Reading 7-0 away from home on Tuesday, as Wilson (2), Aleksandar Mitrovic (2), Kenny Tete, Neeskins Kebano and Tosin Adarabioyo all got on the scoresheet.
Prior to their victories over the Royals and Bristol, Fulham had been narrowly beaten 1-0 at home to Sheffield United and drew 1-1 in back to back matches against both Luton Town and AFC Bournemouth, but, will be confident that their rough patch of form is well and truly over after their last two results.
Nigel Pearson’s men beat Millwall 3-2 prior to their loss to Fulham in the FA Cup, but, failed to win any of their previous three fixtures before their victory over the Lions, losing 2-1 and 3-2 against Queens Park Rangers and Huddersfield Town, as well as drawing 2-2 with Hull City in early December.
Prediction: Fulham 2-1 Bristol City 8/1
