On Saturday, Hull City take on Millwall in the Championship, in a battle of 19th versus 10th at the MKM Stadium.
The Tigers come into this match in good form, having won their last three league fixtures, propelling Grant McCann’s side out of the relegation zone following two 2-0 victories over Barnsley and Birmingham City, before defeating Cardiff City 1-0 on Wednesday night at the Cardiff City Stadium, as Keane Lewis-Potter scored the only goal of the game. Prior to their three wins in a row, Hull had been narrowly beaten 1-0 by both Coventry City and West Bromwich Albion.
On the other hand, Millwall are becoming draw specialists of late, as each of their last three matches in the division have finished 1-1 against AFC Bournemouth, Middlesbrough and Derby County. The Lions last win came on 2nd November via a 1-0 scoreline against Reading at the New Den, as Benik Afobe scored the only goal of the game. Prior to their victory over the Royals, they had just been beaten 1-0 by Huddersfield Town in late October.
Due to Hull’s good form of late, which has seen them keep three clean sheets in a row, combined with the fact that Millwall are struggling to win matches, we fancy Hull to edge out their opponents here.
Prediction: Hull City 1-0 Millwall 6/1
