The first El Classico of the season takes place at Camp Nou this weekend as Barcelona take on Real Madrid.
Barcelona currently sit top of the La Liga table with 27 points from nine games. Hansi Flick's men have won every league game thus far, scoring a whopping 39 goals and conceding nine.
Averaging 4.33 goals per game in the league, the Catalan side are scintillating going forward, with Raphinha currently the team's top scorer (and La Liga's top scorer) with 12 goals, while Lamine Yamal sits behind him with eight goals.
Barcelona did fall to a 4-2 defeat away to PSG in the Champions League in midweek, though they were very competitive for large spells of the game and didn't field a full-strength XI in preparation for this fixture.
The Blaugrana have been exceptionally dominant in recent El Classicos, winning six of the last seven head-to-head clashes. They come into this one as favourites too, with Real Madrid having a more mixed start to the campaign.
Jose Mourinho's team lie 3rd in La Liga with 21 points from nine games having lost two games already. Performances have largely been sub par, with the Portuguese manager struggling to find the right balance of profiles from an imbalanced squad.
Their form has picked up recently with the team winning four games on the bounce. They comfortably dispatched RB Leipzig in the Champions League in midweek, recording a 4-1 win at the Bernabeu.
Summer signing Yan Diomande is starting to come into his own in a white shirt, netting three goals in his last four games, all of which were highly impressive pieces of individual quality.
It is, though, hard to see Madrid picking up a scalp at Camp Nou this weekend given their recent record against their rivals - and the contrast in performances between the two teams this season.
These two rarely play out a boring game, with six of the last seven meetings between the sides having seen over 2.5 goals. Barcelona's games have also averaged 5.33 goals, while Madrid's have averaged 3.56, so we expect that trend to continue here. We do, however, fancy the home side to take all three points.
Barcelona 3-2 Real Madrid
