Accrington vs. MK Dons Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Accrington vs. MK Dons prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.

We have a relegation six pointer in League One this weekend as Accrington Stanley face MK Dons.

Accrington Stanley currently 20th in League One with eight wins, eleven draws and sixteen losses from thirty-five games this season.

Stanley have had a fairly tough campaign in League One this time out despite a solid start as they've spent the majority of the last few months in and around the relegation zone.

They enter this game in fairly poor form having won only one of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 1-3 defeat at home to Portsmouth.

They've been struggling in front of goal of late, too, having scored just three times in their last five games.

Their home form is slightly more impressive, however, having won two of their last four games on home soil.

Accrington sit just two points above MK Dons, despite having a game in hand, so a defeat here would see them dragged into the bottom four. Considering they have home advantage here they cannot afford to lose.

MK Dons currently sit 21st in League One with nine wins, six draws and twenty-one losses from thirty-six games this season.

MK Dons have had a frankly terrible campaign after being expected by many to challenge for promotion only to spent the entirety of it battling to climb out of the relegation zone.

They enter this game amidst a poor run of form having lost three of their last five games in the league but having beaten Cambridge United 1-0 in their most recent game they'll be hoping that is a sign of what is to come.

Their away form is not at all encouraging heading into this game though with Mark Jackson's side drawing one and losing three of their last four games on the road.

The scores ended level when these two locked horns in League One back in August and considering both sides' predicaments a share of the spoils seems likely again here.

A result like that doesn't do MK Dons much good, however, as given Accrington's game in hand they need three point from this one.
