Two promotion hopefuls meet in Greater Manchester this weekend with Derby County making the trip to Bolton Wanderers after topsy-turvy starts to the new League One season for both sides.
Derby have managed to net 10 goals so far this season, and although only Barnsley have scored more, the Rams have still managed to lose twice this season and faced an exit from the EFL Cup first round too.
The club suffered losses to Wigan Athletic at Pride Park on the first game of the season before another home loss by the same 2-1 scoreline to Oxford United two weeks later. Derby have, however, managed to win three of the past four games after also losing to Blackpool in the EFL Cup first round at Pride Park. Such a run of form means three losses in all competitions for Derby already - no side has a worse home record than them in League One so far.
Paul Warne's men did defeat Burton Albion on the road three weeks ago with a goal each from Conor Washington, Conor Hourihane and James Collins, as Martyn Waghorn bagged his second goal of the season when he managed to score in the first half of a 1-0 win over Fleetwood Town.
Waghorn would follow this up this past weekend with a fantastic first half hat-trick against Peterborough United in a comeback win for the Rams, as Eiran Cashin also got his first goal of the season.
As for Bolton, it's two games without a win in a row in League One after a stunning 4-0 loss to Wigan Athletic that saw the club let in three goals in the first half. The Wanderers drew 1-1 with Burton on the road last time out, as Dion Charles scored in the second half of the game to equalise.
Bolton have also managed to defeat Lincoln City and Cheltenham Town 3-0 this season and fans are merely hoping that the recent run is merely a blip as they aim to put together a solid run into the playoffs this season after finishing fifth last campaign with the second best defensive record in the league with just 36 goals let in from 46 games.
