Bristol Rovers vs Wycombe Prediction, Tips & Stats

Wycombe Wanderers will face a tough test on the road this Tuesday evening when they meet with Bristol Rovers as the home side head into this one with an unbeaten run of four games and within touching distance of the top half of the table once more.

Wycombe fell to a defeat to Burton Albion last time out in a 2-1 defeat away from home to make it just two wins in the past four games for them. The club are now behind Bolton Wanderers in sixth by six points, although they do have two games in hand. A loss in one of those extra games here would be a tough hit on their playoff hopes, however.

As for Bristol, they defeated Forest Green on the road in a 3-1 victory last time out, as the club also defeated Oxford United just prior to that and drew 0-0 with Barnsley before that. It has moved the south west side into 13th and behind Lincoln City in 12th by just goals difference, although they still sit 18 points adrift of the playoffs and are no doubt going to be in League One again next campaign.

BTTS, each team 1+ corners in each half and each team 10+ booking pts is at 5/2 in this game and you can get huge odds of 250/1 for over 4.5 goals, 15+ corners and 70+ booking pts. Wycombe Wanderers to win, BTTS, each team 4+ corners and each team 20+ booking pts is also at 25/1 and it's 28/1 for Bristol Rovers to win, BTTS, each team 4+ corners and each team 20+ booking pts.

            Wycombe team news

Wycombe will head into this one potentially making a few changes after a terrible loss to Burton Albion down in the bottom six. Sam Vokes will still lead the line, but Gareth McCleary could drop out after an ineffective game last time out. David Wheeler and Hanlan both came off in the last outing and will likley get a starting role here. Chem Campbell and Josh Scowen replaced them last time out and could feature here. Jordan Willis is also back in the squad here, as is Tjay De Barr. Freeman and Wing should remain in the midfield here.

            Bristol rovers team news

Bristol have some injury issues here, as Josh Marquis and Coburn come into this one with injuries picked up in the 3-1 win over Forest Green Rovers. Collins also came off in that game but he seems to be fit to play here. Gordon and Scott Sinclair have moved into wing-back roles lately, and the latter scored from such a position last time out. Gibson, Quansah and Hoole should get minutes in the back three here. Luke McCormick came off the back and came back off with an injury last time out and misses this game. We expect Ryan Loft and Antony Evans to get minutes here after missing the last game.
