Burton Albion and Barnsley will meet this weekend at the Pirelli Stadium with the home side now up into 18th in the league table with the Tykes still campaigning for a spot in the top three after another incredible run of form sees them in fourth.
Barnsley smashed Morecambe last time out with a 5-0 hammering over the Shrimps that saw Devante Cole score twice before Herbie Kane and Bobby Thomas scored a goal each. In total, the club have 18 efforts towards goals with 10 hitting the target in what was one of their best results of the season.
Barnsley are now sitting fourth after the international break with 23 wins on the board and nine defeats. It also now witnesses the club sit as the second-highest goalscorers in the league with 66 scored and 34 let in.
As for Burton, they drew 0-0 with Cheltenham Town last time out and now come into this one in 18th and having also beaten Port Vale 3-2 away from home not that long ago. It keeps the Brewers above the relegation zone by 11 points now and also above MK Dons just below them by two points with two games in hand. However, with 70 goals let in, Burton have the second-worst defensive record in the league and will struggle against the second-highest scorers.
