Two sides right next to each other in the league table meet in League One this weekend as Derby County face Cambridge United.
Derby County currently sit 9th in League One with four wins, one draw and three losses from their first eight games of the season.
On the whole, it's been a fairly underwhelming start to the season for a derby side whose fans were hopeful they would mount a serious promotion push this time out after falling disappointingly short last time out.
However, their form has been wildly inconsistent as they come into this game having won just one of their last three league games.
That win was, however, in their most recent outing where they claimed a solid 2-0 win away at Carlisle United courtesy a brace from James Collins.
That win followed a commendable point against league leaders Portsmouth in their prior game which puts them now on a decent two-match run.
It's too short-lived to determine if it's going to be the start of a sustained run of form but Derby have shown enough in the opening weeks of the campaign to suggest they're plenty capable of pushing for a top six spot even if they've been inconsistent.
Their record at home has been pretty poor this far with The Rams having won only one of their four league games on home soil (W1 D1 L2) so this represents a big chance to start to turn that tide.
Cambridge United currently sit 10th in the EFL Championship with four wins, one draw and three losses from their first eight games of the season.
Like Derby, Cambridge have been an inconsistent presence in the league so far but their start to the season has been more impressive than underwhelming given many had tipped them to be a relegation contender coming into the season.
They do, though, enter this game amidst a fairly poor run of form having won just one of their last four matches (W1 D1 L2).
Most recently, Cambridge held Port Vale to a 1-1 draw at Abbey Stadium with Fejiri Okenabirhie's second half goal sealing a valuable point against a side in the play-off positions.
The U's have played only three times away from home in the league so far and have lost both of their last two on the road so they could be in for a difficult time here.
Recent form of both sides definitely favours the home side here and with home advantage on their side Derby should claim all three points from this one.
For our Derby vs. Cambridge prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
