For our Derby vs. Fleetwood prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
Derby County continue their play-off push this weekend as they face Fleetwood Town in League One on Saturday.
Derby County currently sit 5th in League One with eighteen wins, ten draws and eight losses from thirty-six games this season.
The Rams have had a solid campaign this time around but have slightly underwhelmed relative to expectations as they struggled to maintain a consistent Leven throughout the season.
They enter this game amidst a mixed run of form having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 3-2 win at Oxford United.
Their form at home has been fairly strong having won three and drawn two of their last five games on home soil having conceded just three times in that period while keeping three clean sheets.
Derby are looking in decent shape as far as a top six finish in concerned but they still have a tonne of work to do given they're just four points clear of Wycombe Wanderers in 7th. A home game against Fleetwood is one they should win.
Fleetwood Town currently sit 16th in League One with ten wins, thirteen draws and thirteen losses from thirty-six games this season.
The Cod Army have had a fairly forgettable campaign this season as they look destined to limp towards a mid-table finish in League One.
They enter this game amidst a poor run of form having drawn one and lost three of their last four matches, the most recent of which was a 1-1 draw against Port Vale.
Their form away from home is even worse having lost their last three consecutive games on the road while failing to score in any of their last four.
These two sides drew 0-0 when they met in the league back in August and Fleetwood would likely be happy with that result here given the disparity on form and quality between the two. They'll likely lose, but Derby aren't consistent enough to write Fleetwood off entirely.
