Derby County currently sit sixth in League One after 19 games. The Rams have 11 wins, three draws and five losses, leaving them on 36 points, just three points behind third-place Stevenage and second-place Bolton.
In their last five games in all competitions, Derby have four wins and one loss.
The one loss came in the First round replays of the FA Cup against Crewe Alexandra. Tom Barkhuizen opened the scoring in the third minute but a brace from Aaron Rowe and a goal from Mickey Demetriou gave Crewe the unlikely 3 - 1 win. However, Derby bounced back against Bristol Rovers. All of the action came late, with an own goal from Jack Hunt giving The Rams the lead, but Chris Martin equalised with just three minutes of normal time to go. Nathaniel Mendez-Laing popped up with a goal in the 90th minute to give Derby the 2 - 1 win.
Tyreece John-Jules scored the only goal of the game in the 77th minute to give Derby the 1 - 0 win over Port Vale. In the Second round of the Football League Trophy, Derby hosted Fleetwood. A brace from James Collins and a goal from John-Jules gave Derby the 3 - 0 win and the spot in the next round.
