Forest Green are still bottom of the table ahead of them playing hosts to Derby County in League One with the Rams looking to get back into the playoff spots after a poor run of form sees them down in seventh.
Derby are in arguably their worst run of form since November when they last went on a lengthy winless run. Heading into this one, the Rams have lost 2-0 to Peterborough United, Fleetwood Town and Ipswich Town. The last victory for Derby came in a 3-2 victory over Oxford United away from home, although they did also lose to Plymouth Argyle and drew 2-2 with Shrewsbury Town just before that.
This run of form sees the club in seventh and behind Peterborough on goals difference, as the Midlands side have scored 59 goals and let in 41 from 39 games. At the same time, they are behind Bolton Wanderers in fifth on goals difference, although Bolton also have an extra game in hand.
As for Forest Green, they come into this one having lost to Portsmouth 1-0 over the past weekend. However, they did get a stunning 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday two weeks back as bottom managed to beat top against all the odds in League One. It marked the best win under Duncan Ferguson at the club, but Forest Green are still rock bottom in the third tier.
