Forest Green will play host to Lincoln City this weekend at the New Lawn Stadium with the club continuing to sit down at the bottom of the League One table as Lincoln continue to dream of a spot in the top half of the table.
It's now 13 games without a win for Forest Green in all competitions ever since they managed to edge past Cheltenham Town 1-0 and Cambridge United 2-1. This has seen a new manager come in, while Forest Green have also been knocked out of the FA Cup third round to Birmingham City. Recently, the club have lost the past two games, as Charlton Athletic have beaten them 1-0 and Ipswich Town 4-0. It also means we are still yet to see Duncan Ferguson win at the helm of his new side.
Forest Green have secured only five wins from 33 games so far and to make matters worse, not just do they have an eight-point gap on Accrington Stanley in the safe zone of League One, they have also played three games more, which means they may now end up being 17 points behind at one stage this campaign.
As for Lincoln, relegation fears for them have disappeared in recent times, as they now sit 15th in the table and above Forest Green by 17 points and above 22nd-placed MK Dons by 10. The club have, however, failed to win their past three games.
