For our Port Vale vs. Exeter prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
Two mid-table sides meet in League Two this weekend as Port Vale meet Exeter City on Saturday afternoon.
Port Vale currently sit 15th in League One with ten wins, seven draws and fourteen losses from thirty-one games this season.
Port Vale have had an up and down season in terms of form this season and they look fairly destined for a mediocre mid-table finish with their form in another down period.
They enter this game in the midst of a poor run of form having drawn two and lost three of their last five matches in the league, the most recent of which was a 1-3 loss at home to Barnsley.
The defeat was a comfortable one and means Port Vale are now seven games without a win, a run that will be of huge concern to fans of the club.
Their home form is equally worrying heading into this game having drawn one and lost four of their last five matches on home soil having scored just three goals in that period.
Port Vale are still nine points clear of the relegation zone but if they don't start to collect a few wins things could get much more nervy. Right now, this is a game they should be looking to win.
Exeter City currently sit 12th in League One with ten wins, nine draws and twelve losses from thirty-one games this season.
Exeter have had a very respectable season following promotion to League One last season as they sit comfortably clear of trouble in mid-table.
They do enter this game amidst a poor run of form, however, having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five matches in the league.
Their most recent result was a pretty positive one having taken a point of a Shrewsbury Town side in red hot form in a 0-0 draw.
Exeter's away form is pretty encouraging here having won three of their last five league games on the road.
The two sides have already met twice this season with Exeter coming out on top on both occasions, 4-0 in the league and 3-2 in the FA Cup, so they will be mightily confident of a repeat result here.
Exeter are eleven points clear of the relegation zone and in no real danger of going down, with a middle of the road finish their highly likely destiny. A win here would be a big three points and it's one they should fancy themselves to get.
