Blackpool make the trip to Broadhall Way this Saturday to take on Stevenage in League One. Both sides are in the conversation for Play-off football, needing all three points this weekend to close in on the top six.

Jamie Reid opened the scoring in the second minute and Jordan Roberts doubled Stevenage’s lead over Northampton Town before the halftime whistle. Elliott List added another in the second half to secure the 3 - 0 win for Stevenage. The next time out saw The Boro take on top of the league Portsmouth. Paddy Lane gave Portsmouth an early lead in the 12th minute, but Louis Thompson equalised before the 30 minute mark. Colby Bishop’s goal secured the 2 - 1 win for Pompey, with Stevenage ending the game with ten men after Nathan Thompson’s 96th minute red card.
In the Third Round of the FA Cup, Stevenage took on National League South side Maidstone United. A Sam Corne penalty in the added time of the first half gave Maidstone the important 1 - 0 win over Stevenage. Back in League One, Stevenage bounced back against Shrewsbury. Reid left it late, but grabbed the only goal of the game in the 84th minute for a 1 - 0 win for Stevenage.
The last time out for Stevenage was against Wigan. Despite a goal from Reid, Wigan had a 2 - 1 lead at halftime thanks to a fifth minute penalty from Josh Magennis and a goal from Thelo Aasgaard. However, in the second half, Carl Piergianni and Thompson both scored to give Stevenage the 3 - 2 win.

In the FA Cup Third Round Replays, Blackpool took on Premier League Nottingham Forest. Andrew Omobamidele gave Forest the 1 - 0 lead at halftime and Danilo doubled the lead in the first minute of the second half. Morgan and Kyle Joseph managed to level it for Blackpool but a Chris Wood goal in extra time gave Forest the 3 - 2 win.
Back in League One, Blackpool took on Bristol Rovers. CJ Hamilton opened the scoring in the fifth minute and Karamoko Dembele doubled the Blackpool lead before the 20 minute mark. Chris Martin did score soon after for Rovers, but Blackpool held on for the 2 - 1 win. Dembele was on the scoresheet again for Blackpool, this time just after halftime against Charlton. However, an own goal from Marvin Akpereogene Paul Edem Ekpiteta grabbed a 1 - 1 draw for Charlton.
The most recent outing for Blackpool was in the Quarter-finals of the Football League Trophy against Bolton. Neither side could find the back of the net, Blackpool only having one shot on target in 90 minutes. This sent the tie to penalties. Zac Ashworth, Jon Daoi Boovarsson and Dion Charles all missed to give Blackpool the 5 - 4 win.
