Doncaster are looking to build on a decent run of form as they travel to face Barrow in League Two this weekend.
Barrow are currently 13th in the League Two having won three, drawn three and lost two of their eight games so far this season.
It's been a reasonable start to the season for a barrow side that came into the season without outside hopes of a play-off challenge and they've certainly shown some signs that suggest they're capable of that.
They're coming into this game in poor form, however, having won just one of their last five games having lost two of their last three outings in all competitions.
Their most recent game saw them fall to a 1-0 defeat away at Mansfield Town after conceding a late goal in the 72nd minute.
They've struggled greatly in front of goal in the last few weeks having scored just three goals in their last three matches and unless they can find a way to remedy their impotence in front of goal they'll likely continue to struggle.
They can at least take confidence from the fact they've taken four points from their last two league games on home soil there is some cause for optimism here.
They are, though, facing a Doncaster side in the ascendency so three points won't be easy.
Doncaster Rovers currently sit 19th in League Two having won two, drawn two and lost five of their first nine games of the season.
Donny have been hugely underwhelming so far this season despite harbouring hopes of a play-off push coming into the season.
The Yorkshire side were winless up until very recently but they're now coming into this game off the back of successive league wins after beating Gillingham 2-1 thanks to a brace from Ben Close.
The win over Gillingham followed a 2-1 win over Forest Green Rovers in their game prior and combined with the 2-0 win over Everton U21 in the EFL Trophy they've now won three games on the bounce.
The win over Gillingham was hugely significant given the Gills are currently 2nd in the league table so there's a good chance that Donny could be about to embark upon a strong run of form.
Given Barrow's poor form Doncaster should fancy themselves to get a result here.
For our Barrow vs. Doncaster prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the away side.
