            Barrow vs Salford City Preview, Tips & Stats

            Salford City travel to Holker Street to face Barrow this Saturday in a League Two mid-table clash. Both sides have a good haul of points so far, but will be looking for a win to push towards the Play-off places.

Barrow left it to the last minute to mount the comeback. Whitfield scored in the 93rd minute and Emile Acquah scored in the 95th minute to grab a 2 - 2 draw for Barrow. The clash against Wimbledon was a goalless affair, with each team having 50% of the possession, but Barrow only having three shots on goal.

But, once again they gave up the lead with goals from Elliot Lee, Steven Fletcher and Jordan Davies, Wrexham took home the 3 - 2 win. Despite a red card to Curtis Tilt, Salford managed to hold on for a 2 - 2 draw against Swindon, with Ethan Ingram and Liam Humbles on the scoresheet for Salford.

            The most recent outing for Salford was against Doncaster. Smith grabbed an impressive hat-trick to give Salford a 3 - 0 win and all three points.

            Barrow and Salford City met for the first time in 2020 and have only met six times in their histories. Barrow have never beaten Salford, whereas Salford have been the winning side three times, with the other three meetings ending in a draw.
