Two sides coming off the back of impressive wins meet in League Two this weekend as Barrow face Sutton United.
Barrow currently sit 5th in League Two having won their first game of the season.
Barrow got off to a winning start with an impressive 2-1 win away at Tranmere Rovers last weekend.
They took the lead through Niall Canavan on nineteen minutes before Tranmere drew level through a penalty on sixty-three minutes.
Just seven minutes later, however, Kian Spence stole all three points for Barrow to open their account for the 2023/24 League Two campaign.
Some may argue Barrow's win came against the balance of play with The Bluebirds having conceded 65% of the possession and 16 shots, to Tranmere's 8, but to claim three points in difficult conditions is testament to their resolve.
Barrow faced League One side Bolton Wanderers in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night after making a few changes to their starting XI and fell to a 1-0 defeat.
That loss will be of little concern to manager Pete Wild given they faced an opponent a league up while making a number of changes to the lineup so they will now refocus ahead of a more important game this weekend.
They face a tough game in this one but in front of their own fans they'll fancy themselves to make it two wins on the bounce here.
Sutton United currently sit top of League Two after resoundingly winning their first game of the season.
Sutton were handed, on paper, one of the toughest assignments on the opening day having been given a home fixture against newly promoted Notts County, one of the preseason favourites for promotion.
However, Sutton made a mockery of those confidently backing County for promotion as they handed their opponents a League Two baptism of fire, surging to a thumping 5-1 win.
Goals from Joseph Kizzi, Omari Patrick (X2), Harry Beautyman and Harry Smith sealed a euphoric opening day victory that may have had punters completely rewriting their expectations for Sutton this season.
Sutton followed up that win with an entertaining penalty shootout victory against Cambridge United following a 2-2 draw having conceded two penalties to Cambridge in normal time.
Sutton struggled away from home last season, winning just four times on the road in the league, so they'll have to improve greatly on that record if they're to kick on this season.
A win here would likely keep them at the top of the table and although it's very early days that would do wonders for squad morale.
For our Barrow vs. Sutton prediction, we're going for a 2-2 draw.
