The New Lawn Stadium is the venue for an exciting League Two clash on Saturday afternoon as Forest Green Rovers are set to host Tranmere Rovers, with the game set to kick off at 15:00.
Following a terrible campaign so far, the hosts are currently sitting in 23rd position in the League Two table, having gained just 23 points from their 32 league games this campaign. Forest Green are six points adrift of safety and will need to massively improve their results if they have any chance at survival.
Forest Green come into this weekend’s game on the back of a terrible run of form which has seen them record just one win in their last seventeen league outings. Last time out, Rovers were defeated 2-0 by Crawley.

Tranmere look condemned to another season in League Two as they are currently 17 points above the relegation zone and 8 points behind the playoff places.
In their last league outing, Tranmere recorded an unlikely victory as they thrashed league leaders Stockport County 4-0. Goals came from Tom Davies, Connor Jennings and Jordan Turnbull.
The fixture of Forest Green vs Tranmere is a relatively new one, with the two sides having first met in 2018 in League Two. In total, the two sides have met on nine occasions, with Forest green having the better record having won 4 compared to Tranmere’s 3.
It was Tranmere who recorded an emphatic victory when these sides met earlier on in the season in the reverse fixture. Rovers took the lead in the eighth minute when Tyrese Omotoye appeared to deflect the ball into his own net from a corner after Jordan Turnbull's initial header looked to be going wide.
Tranmere had further chances, with Rob Apter and Brad Walker going close before half-time, while Forest Green's best opportunity fell to Omotoye whose looping header was clawed away by Luke McGee. Rovers eventually doubled their lead just two minutes after the break when Kristian Dennis calmly slotted the ball home from the edge of the area.
The visitors' cause was made all the more difficult when Dom Bernard was sent off after receiving his second yellow card for a deliberate handball. Making the most of their numerical advantage, Tranmere did not let up, with Luke Norris twice going close before Apter made the game safe with 20 minutes remaining.
