For our Hartlepool vs. Sutton prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the away side.
Hartlepool United are looking to continue their good form as they face Sutton United in League Two this weekend.
Hartlepool United are currently 22nd in League Two with six wins, seven draws and sixteen losses from twenty-nine games this season.
Hartlepool have struggled immensely for the most part this season as they've spent the lion's share of the campaign in and around the relegation places, but having claimed a couple of big wins in recent weeks things are looking fairly positive on their end.
They enter this game in, by their standards, the midst of a decent run of form having won two and lost two of their last four matches in the league.
Most recently, Hartlepool claimed a big win when they beat Doncaster Rovers 1-0 away from home courtesy of a late winner from Daniel Dodds.
Hartlepool's home form isn't great heading into this game having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five league matches on home soil.
Despite claiming a couple of big wins of late, Hartlepool are still in grave danger as they sit just one point clear of Gillingham in 23rd having played two games more. They do, then, need to carry on winning and while this will be a tough encounter it's a decent chance to claim a big three points.
Sutton United currently sit 12th in League Two with eleven wins, seven draws and eleven losses from twenty-nine games this season.
Form-wise Sutton's season has been mixed throughout this campaign but they find themselves well placed to make a run at the top seven in the coming weeks as we enter the business end of the season.
They enter this game amidst a solid run of form having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches in the league.
Most recently, Sutton claimed a commendable point at home to 2nd placed Stevenage in a hard-fought 0-0 draw.
Their away form of late has been solid, too, having won two, drawn one and lost one of their last four league games on the road.
Sutton cruised to a 2-0 win at home to Hartlepool when the two sides locked horns in the league back in September, but Hartlepool will likely provide a stiffer test this time around as they enter this game in a better vein of form.
Despite Hartlepool's improvements this is a game Sutton must take three points from if they want to be considered serious contenders.
