We have a very intriguing game taking place at Meadow Lane this weekend as Notts County face Accrington Stanley in League Two.
Notts County currently sit 4th in League Two with three wins, one draw and one defeat from their opening five matches.
County were heavily tipped for an immediate promotion to League One following last season's play-off win in the National League but their season started in shambles as they were battered 5-1 away at Sutton United.
However, that result is long forgotten now as they've gone on to record three impressive wins and a draw in their following four games.
Their most recent outing saw them face Tranmere Rovers at Meadow Lane and the Midlands side came out on top in a deserved 2-1 victory.
David McGoldrick and Connell Lawson had Notts County 2-0 up past the hour mark and despite Joshua Hawkes reducing the deficit to just one goal with two minutes remaining Luke Williams's side held on for a deserved win.
After a shaky start County are really beginning to look like the team most people expected them to be and while it won't be easy to maintain this form things are looking very positive.
This will be a huge test against a side right next to them in the league table but with home advantage on their side they'll fancy themselves for all three points.
A win here would be huge in terms of momentum for Notts County and would really send a message to the rest of the division.
Accrington Stanley currently sit 3rd in League Two with with three wins, one draw and one loss from their first five games of the season.
Stanley kicked off their campaign with a thumping 3-0 win over Newport County, a win that has aged very well, before falling to a tight 1-0 loss at Gillingham.
A draw at home to Barrow followed but successive wins against Harrogate Town, 2-1, and most recently Salford City away, 2-1, have really got the Accrington fans excited.
Accrington are newly relegated from League One and few expected them to bounce straight back but the manner in which they've started could have one or two reassessing their pre-season predictions.
Their most recent win away at Salford City, a side always fancied for promotion, was a huge three points and was the type of result indicative of a promotion contender.
Like with their opponents it's too early to get overly excited about the prospect of a promotion push but Accrington's start has no doubt surpassed most people's expectations and that should be lauded.
Three points in this one would go some way to establishing John Coleman's side as a promotion contender and while that will be mightily tough to get a draw would represent an similarly positive result.
For our Notts County vs. Accrington prediction, we're going for a 2-2 draw.
