Newport County make the trip to Edgeley Park to take on Stockport County this Saturday in League Two. Stockport look to draw level with top of the table Mansfield Town whereas Newport aim to venture further into the top half of the table.

A poor first half from Newport saw Dan Kemp, Jack Payne and Alex Gilbey all score to give MK Dons the 3 - 0 lead at halftime. Newport could only manage two shots on target and suffered a 3 - 0 loss. However, Newport bounced back against Harrogate Town. A penalty from Evans, a brace from Offrande Zanzala and a goal from Seb Palmer-Houlden gave Newport the 4 - 1 win over Harrogate, who got on the scoresheet late through George Thomson.
The most recent outing for Newport was against Mansfield Town. George Maris scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute to give Mansfield the 1 - 0 win over Newport.
